I’ve been taking 3D art since my freshman year of high school and immediately fell in love with it. At first, most of my work was strictly focused on practicing techniques for throwing on the wheel and hand-building. But as I’ve grown more comfortable with experimentation, I’ve found that much of my influence on my pieces comes from nature. While I made this piece a year ago, I still use this technique of warping the sides of the piece and adding natural decorations in those spots. The idea is that it’s almost as if the piece is being altered into a more organic shape by those natural elements.
