Lakesiders: What’s your most controversial political hot take?
Michelle Obama for president!
Kamala would suck as president.
I don’t personally believe the United States is a democracy. The two party system doesn’t give the American people enough options and the electoral college gives some voters more power than others purely based on where they live. Voters in Michigan and the 6 other swing states are realistically the only states that matter in this election. I believe that a secured border is necessary for national security.
Kanye has zero flaws.
Trump’s likely to win.
We should have another civil war, but only AFTER I move to Canada.
Where’s Mike Pence when you need him?
The future of our country would be better served in RFK’s hands than either Trump or Harris.
Kamala being the president will lead to a significantly higher chance of there being WW3, or at least 1-2+ very major wars around the world (in addition to the war in Gaza and the Ukraine war).
There are no good presidential candidates and there haven’t been for years.
The future of our country would be better served in RFK’s hands than either Trump or Harris.
The only legitimate functions of government are policing and defense.
As a democrat, I can’t justify abortions. I can’t see a way that you aren’t harming another human, even when they’re unborn.
We need a president who is far left and willing to make radical changes in order to improve cost of living, queer rights, women’s rights, racial justice, gun violence, etc. in the US.
We need a fiscally liberal and socially conservative president and Congress.
