Of the Upper School students surveyed, most believe that the U.S. government has either too much or the right amount of power. However, most also believe that Student Government does not have enough power.
The p-value of a dataset is the probability that the result is due to random chance (in this case, the “result” is whether Lakesiders have confidence in a given institution). A value with p < 0.05 is statistically significant.
From the data collected, we can conclude that the portion of students who think that Student Government should have more power is statistically significant. However, we are unable to conclude anything about what Upper School students think about the United States government. Additionally, there appears to be no correlation between opinions on Stud Gov and the U.S. government.
