It’s no secret that Dr. Bynum is very busy, with demand for his time that greatly exceeds supply. Given his tightly packed schedule, many students wishing to meet with him have been unable to find a suitable time. Now, that’s all set to change, with Dr. Bynum opening new office hours across April and May.

“Several students asked for an open time on my calendar where they didn’t have to set up a meeting in advance,” says Dr. Bynum. From his meetings with advisory groups in the Schoolhouse earlier this school year, he gathered that students wanted more open-ended conversation time to share their Lakeside-related feedback and questions. The goal for these new office hours is to be an accessible option for anyone who is interested to attend.

The office hours will be held in Dr. Bynum’s office in the Bliss Main Office area on the following dates:

• Friday, April 21st 1:25-2:00 pm
• Friday, May 5th 1:25-2:00 pm
• Monday, May 8th 1:25-2:00 pm
• Monday, May 15th 8:00-8:30 am  
• Monday, May 26th 1:25-2:00 pm
• Monday, May 30th 1:25-2:00 pm

No RSVP or advance preparation is necessary, and there is no set list of conversation topics for each meeting. So, everyone should come ready to share their honest thoughts or ask their burning (or perhaps non-burning) questions. The doctor (Bynum) will see you there.
