Lakeside’s “Les Misérables” Through Photos
Lakeside’s “Les Misérables,” one of the theater department’s most ambitious productions in recent memory, performed for three nights between January 26 and 28 to a packed St. Nick’s Theater. The production, which began rehearsals in early November and involved over 80 students in the cast and crew, tells Victor Hugo’s sweeping tale of redemption and rebellion in early 19th-century France.
Director Micky Place gives notes to the cast before the show. His goal for opening night: to "burn this place down (safely and metaphorically)."
