What are your music related hot takes?
- Chappell Roan doesn’t deserve her fame. All of her popular music is old and she hasn’t released anything good recently and hasn’t released an album since like 2023 and yes she can belt but otherwise I don’t like her voice and she was rude to other artists.
- modern popular music is low skill to produce and it is a shame that modern pop artists earn thousands of times more money than what even the greatest classical musicians make
- Bad music can be enjoyed. You can only remove the artist from the music once that artist no longer earns money from said song.
- Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar are overrated.
- I don’t think it’s too early to listen to Christmas music
- Britney Spears is the best workout music.
- Hard rock is overrated. Its just screaming and banging and really overwhelming.
- Music is a terrible subject for icebreaker questions and places immense pressure on people whose music tastes are eclectic, avant-garde, difficult to describe, or irrelevant.
